Cadwaladr Woodland Products, based in Gwynedd has been trading since 1984.

The core business was initially as forestry, fencing and arboriculturlal contractors, with some firewood. A new sawmill has now been established in order to make best use of this and other local woodland resources, processing mainly oak, but also Douglas fir, pine, larch and cedar.

Firewood

For many years firewood has been produced and we have specialised in the production of high quality hardwood and coniferous wood fuel. Accredited by membership of Woodsure-Plus as providers of Quality Assured Fuels.

Where does our firewood come from?

Some wood, mainly oak, comes from our own broad-leaved woodland. This woodland is managed non-commercially, with the emphasis on increasing bio-diversity and wildlife, notably woodland flowers, birds and bats.

Sawmill

Most of the timber is sourced locally from managed woodlands in the Ogwen and Conwy valleys. We are keen to utilise home grown timbers, especially our native hardwoods and pine.
